I must admit, yesterday’s non-stop all-day snow made me think we were going to be snowed in again but fortunately it didn’t settle. I went shopping a few days ago and the shops were full of flimsy summer clothes!

I know! I have actually bought a couple of summer dresses but I’m not sure they’re ever going to make it out of the wardrobe. I tried to buy gloves in M and S the other day but they were all gone, while there were about a billion sarongs on offer …. glad you weren’t snowed in anyway!
You are tright. It is not funny. One good thing is that it is not raining. Will we avoid April Showers?

Well that’s true, I’d forgotten it was supposed to be raining. Maybe they’ll let us off the rain as we’ve had so much snow?!

The photo is perfect. I feel murderous whenever it snows anyway – unless it starts at 8pm on an evening when I don’t have to go out and is gone by the morning.

But it never starts at 8pm! It always seems to start here at about 2pm when I’m starting to think about the school run, then keeps up a will-it won’t-it dandruff-style snow right up until I have to leave, keeping me in a state of anxiety about potential blizzards suddenly blowing up on the south circular. I’m not sure grrrrr is strong enough ….
