Thank you

December 1, 2014

Thanks so much to everyone who’s been reading and ringing and wishing and commenting. It’s lovely to feel the support. In a way I shall feel I have let you all down if I get the all clear! All that worry and concern for nothing! I’ll feel terrible for stirring up such a fuss. Yes, I know that is a crackers way of thinking. And that you’ll probably forgive me. But there you are.

Anyhow, I now have a team of people praying for me, which is really comforting. I’ve got a Catholic, a couple of C of Es, a muslim or two, and the lady at the Tesco checkout who was unwise enough to say she was feeling peaky and thus got the full brunt of my recent medical history. I’ve even sent up a prayer myself, which says it all. In the meantime, I feel as though I’ve sat an exam I couldn’t revise for, and I have no idea which way the results will go. Thank you for wishing me luck so far, now please wish me luck again!

How can you make me chuckle yet be so concerned at the same time? Keeping all things crossed and will have a word with the man upstairs to see if he still remembers this lapsed Catholic!

GO ALICE! *waves pompoms*. I shan’t be praying I’m afraid, but I have everything crossed and wished on my Christmas pudding stirring for you too. Love love love xxx
